Emily Funari is an artist currently studying studio art & graphic design.

Born in Alamogordo, NM, based out of Cleveland, OH with a BA in Studio Art with a focus in Photography.

Emily Funari is an art preparator at the Galleries at CSU and an active performance artist (associated & independent). She was introduced to creative expression through visual mediums and music at a young age and has taken many art classes throughout her career, including completing a high school art program that included photography (film & digital), drawing/painting, metal working, set design/creation, and ceramics. She then moved on to Cleveland State University to pursue a studio art BFA.

Her main inspirations and focuses are derived from surrealism, aiming for otherworldly and cerebral moods and themes, especially using digital processes within the Adobe Creative Suite.

She has exhibited work in the Student Art Show at the Galleries at CSU in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021, comprising of printmaking, digital photography and compositing.
